More About Me
Downeast Maine has been my home for over twenty-five years. I attended UMM, taught elementary/middle school for twelve years, and Chaired the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival from 2013 to 2015. I'm involved in choirs and theatre, and was the President of Downriver Theatre Company. I truly love all this area has to offer. We are a great and diverse community of locals and “people from away.” Life here can be one of communing with nature or one of great activity within our many groups.
In my life before settling in Downeast Maine, I was managing the retail and wholesale side of an aerial/sports photography company, spanning RI, MA and ME. Besides New England, I’ve called several places home. I was born in California, lived a few years in New Zealand, spent my childhood in Virginia, and finished my teen years to adulthood in RI. These many locations have shaped my sense of place and self.
As well, my career choices are the product of my pursuit of my interests and have helped me immensely in my real state business. I love working in real estate, it allows me to apply my skills in marketing, teaching, negotiating, problem solving, and the arts. My goal is to work in partnership with my clients, keeping them well informed and making every transaction as smooth a possible. I know the market, people, businesses and land well and am confident I can meet all your real estate needs.
